Giving Back to Our Community
At the Ladies Domain and Empowerment Initiative (LDEI), we believe that real change begins at the grassroots. Community service is at the heart of everything we do, as we strive to create meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and communities.
Through a variety of programs, we address critical needs, empower young girls and women, and promote sustainable change. Every event we host, every partnership we form, and every initiative we champion is driven by a commitment to uplift, empower, and inspire our community.
Past Community Service Events
Pad a Girl Child
In 2024, many girls in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT) still struggle to access basic hygiene needs. To address this, The Ladies Domain and Empowerment Initiative (LDEI) launched the Pad a Girl Child outreach in Old GIWA Community, FCT, Abuja, focused on menstrual and personal hygiene for girls aged 11-15.
LDEI distributed hygiene kits with essentials like sanitary pads, soap, undergarments and toothbrushes, making a real impact on their well-being. Initiatives like Pad a Girl Child exemplify LDEI’s commitment to empowering young girls by ensuring access to basic necessities.
