LDEI Policy Frameworks

These policy frameworks guide leadership, conduct, accountability, participation, communication, financial transparency, program delivery, and whistleblowing within LADIES DOMAIN & EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVES (LDEI).

1. Leadership & Accountability Policy

Leadership within LDEI is a position of service, not privilege.

  • Leaders must demonstrate responsibility, humility, and fairness.
  • Performance will be reviewed periodically.
  • Misconduct or negligence in leadership duties may lead to removal or restructuring.

2. Code of Conduct & Integrity Policy

All members of LDEI shall uphold the highest standards of honesty, discipline, and integrity in all dealings.

  • Any form of fraud, dishonesty, abuse of position, or misrepresentation is strictly prohibited.
  • Members are expected to act as ambassadors of peace, respect, and empowerment at all times.

3. Respect, Inclusion & Anti-Harassment Policy

LDEI promotes a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all women.

  • No form of bullying, harassment, whether verbal, emotional, physical, or online, will be tolerated.
  • Diversity of opinion is welcome, but must be expressed respectfully.
  • Conflicts must be resolved peacefully and internally.

4. Membership Commitment & Participation Policy

Members are expected to actively participate in meetings, programs, and assigned responsibilities.

  • Absenteeism without valid reason may affect roles or privileges.
  • Consistent participation strengthens unity and impact.
  • Leadership roles are performance-based.

5. Communication & Information Policy

All official communication must be clear, respectful, and channeled through approved platforms.

  • Rumors, misinformation, and unauthorized announcements are discouraged.
  • Sensitive information must not be shared outside the organization without approval.
  • Official updates take precedence over informal messages.

6. Financial Accountability & Transparency Policy

All funds, contributions, sponsorships, and expenditures must be properly documented and accounted for.

  • Dual approval is required for major spending.
  • Financial reports must be presented periodically.
  • Misuse of funds will lead to suspension and investigation.
  • Transparency is mandatory in all financial dealings.

7. Project & Program Implementation Policy

All LDEI projects, trainings, and outreach programs must follow structured planning and approval.

  • Clear objectives, budgeting, and timelines are required.
  • Assignments must be respected and delivered on time.
  • Evaluation reports must be submitted after each program.

8. Whistleblowing & Protection Policy

LDEI encourages all members to report unethical behavior, misconduct, exploitation, financial irregularities, or abuse of authority.

  • Reports can be made confidentially to designated executives.
  • Whistleblowers shall be protected from intimidation, victimization, or retaliation.
  • All reports will be treated with seriousness, fairness, and confidentiality.
  • False reporting made in bad faith will attract disciplinary action.
